Wild About You!

It's time for another Twisted Tuesday challenge!!! This time the challenge is to use an animal on your project. The TWIST is to use some flowers.

I know I only have one flower on here but it is a pretty one, right? I didn't think it would look as good with more flowers so I left it as is. That bow is pretty large too. I tried using a narrower ribbon but when I put it with the flower it was too small. I wanted the bow to be bigger than the flower and I guess I did that! You gotta use what you have and this is what I had. Too bad it covers a lot of my pieced background. I like how this turned out. I am going to make some more cards like this with some other printed papers and see what I can come up with. I love the patchwork style, probably because I am also a quilter and this looks like a quilt pattern I might use.

I took this picture in natural light. It really shows how big that bow is! I hope you like it. Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment!

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Make It Monday #134 -Anything Goes
Challenges 4 Everybody #17  -Anything Goes

Beautiful patchwork. Gotta try that technique! It's really very effective, and you certainly met the challenge goals. I thought your bow was a good size, because it helps to emphasize your beautiful flower. Cute little monkey too! Great job on this one...I really liked it a lot. Like you say, one must use what is on hand, and I think you met the challenge very well. TFS
